A Pollution-Free Nation
Clean-up drives, waste-segregation awareness and green habits carried from one street to the next until they become ordinary.

Building a pollution-free and beggar-free nation.
Melli Social Foundation is a nonprofit committed to transforming individuals and communities through thought evolution — and engaging them in that collective endeavour.
Who we are
A small foundation with a stubbornly large idea.
Founded in 2023 and headquartered in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, Melli Social Foundation is a nonprofit organisation working in social services across India.
Our idea is to empower individuals and communities by fostering new perspectives — because lasting change on the street begins as a change in thinking. We work with volunteers, students and interns who give their time to that belief.
“Build a pollution and beggar-free nation.”Our vision
What we work on
Three commitments that guide everything we do.
A Beggar-Free Nation
Replacing alms with agency — connecting people on the street to dignity, skills and work that lets them stand on their own.
Thought Evolution
The root of every social problem is a habit of thinking. We start there, with conversations that shift how people see themselves.
Clean-up Drives
Volunteers on the ground
Our teams gather at lakes, parks and roadsides across Bhubaneswar to clear plastic waste — turning a morning's work into a visible, lasting change in how a neighbourhood treats its own space.
Blood Donation Camps
Giving what money cannot buy
We organise voluntary blood donation camps with local hospitals and colleges, bringing together first-time and regular donors to keep life-saving reserves stocked in our community.
Dignity & Livelihood
From alms to ability
We meet people who beg for a living where they are, understand what holds them there, and walk with them towards skills, documents and work that restore self-respect.
Awareness
Young minds, new habits
Sessions in schools and neighbourhoods on cleanliness, waste and civic responsibility — because a generation that thinks differently keeps a city clean without being asked.
